Meet the Director
Aneesah Glanton Ross is the Founder of The Young Disciples Future Leaders Foundation and LLC. She received a Bachelor’s in Psychology and English, a minor in Special Education, and Master’s in Social Work. Ms. Glanton is an Educator and Social worker and has worked with children and young people for over fifteen years in various school districts including East Orange Campus, Roselle, and Union Public Schools. She is active in the Young Disciples ministries which encourages the spiritual and moral development of young people. She is a member of the Love of Jesus Family Church of Newark. She is the Founder of a book club called “The Happiness Club” and along with her husband she mentors and trains young children from the ages of seven to seventeen. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters.
Aneesah Glanton Ross has launched a children’s center that provides a safe haven for all children and allows them to successfully reach their developmental stages in a nurturing and academically infused environment. She believes that the early developmental years of a child’s learning is very crucial. At, her center, YDFL, Foundation, LLC, children will be involved in a STEAM program which will immerse them into technology and provide them with opportunities that may not necessarily be open for them. The program will tap into the children’s creativity while at the same time appreciating their various learning styles. She understand that with the proper nurturing, skills, and strategies, we can start the building of our Future Leaders.
To God Be the Glory!
